Therapeutic Roadmap
We prioritize comprehensive assessments to ensure your treatment will be safe and effective.

History Assessment
Prepare for an introduction and a series of health interview questions. We may ask about your health, lifestyle, injuries, and fitness goals.
2.
Postural Assessment
A posture scan will provide information on how your body has adapted to your lifestyle and day to day routine.
3.
Basic Movement Assessments
Range of Motion assessment is commonly used to observe the available movement of a joint.
4.
Functional Movement Assessment
A functional movement is a something that you do on a frequent basis. We’ll use this assessment as baseline to spot out any compensations with your movement pattern.
5.
Manual Muscle Testing (MMT)
MMT helps us identify the performance of a specific muscle, getting us closer to identifying the cause of pain.
6.
Nerve and Special Testing
We understand pain and uncertainty . “Getting better” requires more information , and lucky for us there are specific special testing that are designed to help gain further understanding of the underlying condition.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, rhythmic hands-on technique. MLD encourages the natural movement of lymphatic fluid throughout the body. The lymphatic system plays an important role in maintaining fluid balance, supporting immune function, and assisting the body’s natural waste-clearing processes. By encouraging lymphatic circulation, MLD may help reduce swelling, bloating, support post-surgery recovery, ease feelings of heaviness or congestion, promote relaxation, and support the body’s natural detoxification process.
Training & Scope of Practice
Nina has completed Dr. Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage Level 1 Training and provides general MLD treatments within the scope of Registered Massage Therapy.

Pregnancy Massage
Pregnancy massage is designed to support the physical and emotional well-being of expectant mothers. This gentle, therapeutic treatment is tailored to the unique needs and physical changes that occur throughout pregnancy.
During a pregnancy massage, your Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) will use positioning techniques and specialized pregnancy pillows to help ensure your comfort and safety. Depending on your stage of pregnancy and individual needs, you may be positioned in a side-lying or semi-Fowler’s position.
Pregnancy massage can help promote relaxation, ease common pregnancy-related muscle tension and discomfort, and support overall well-being during this special time.
