Danny Vu

Registered Massage Therapist

Danny graduated from the RMT program at Langara College in 2018. He has a personal training background and practises Muay Thai kickboxing. Depending on the season, he will be outdoors playing basketball, golf, tennis, or up in the mountains off roading or snowboarding. With his active life style he obtains the knowledge to optimize performance and manages complex injuries and dysfunctions.

His style of treatment is sports therapeutic with a relaxing flow that consists of Swedish massage techniques, sports massage, and breath work. He is also certified level 1 in NKT(Neurokinetic Therapy) and IATSM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage).

Danny has was a clinical instructor for the RMT program at Langara for 2 years. He enjoys working with TMJ or headache symptomatic patients. Or If deep tissue or relaxation is what you need, don’t hesitate to ask Danny at the beginning of your treatment.

Johnray Dumantay

Intern Massage Therapist

Johnray is a recent graduate of the RMT program at Vancouver Career College and is currently awaiting completion of his board exams. He brings a strong athletic background and a client-centred approach to care, with clinical interests in sports injuries, rehabilitation, and therapeutic relaxation.His path into massage therapy was shaped by years of involvement in competitive and recreational sports, including Greco-Roman wrestling, ice hockey, flag football, soccer, bodybuilding, and running.

His treatment philosophy emphasizes education, informed care, and long-term results.He is fluent in English and Tagalog and currently stays active through weight training and running outside of the clinic. Johnray is dedicated to providing supportive, effective care that helps clients move and feel their best.

Louie Park

Intern Massage Therapist

Louie Park is a recent graduate of Vancouver Career College’s RMT program and is currently awaiting completion of his board examinations. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UBC, which has strengthened his understanding of the connection between physical and mental well-being. With a background in soccer, baseball, volleyball, and strength training, Louie obtained key ideas to prevent injuries, recovery, and maintaining an active lifestyle. He is fluent in both English and Korean and is pleased to provide care in either language.

Louie’s strives to create a comfortable, supportive environment where clients feel heard, informed, and cared for. He manages his patients well being with relaxation techniques and while still providing a sports therapeutic approach.

Boris Wong

BCAK, Kinesiologist
Pain Free Performance Specialist

Since completing his undergrad degree in Kinesiology at UBC in 2021, Boris has worked across multiple rehab and fitness settings as both a BCAK-registered Kinesiologist and personal trainer. Having grown up in Hong Kong and Beijing before moving to Vancouver, he has trained clients using English, Cantonese, and Mandarin as the language of instruction.

In addition to his Pain-Free Performance Specialist and Soft-Tissue Release certifications, he has more than a decade of experience with various forms of resistance training such as bodybuilding, powerlifting, and calisthenics. His training style aims to help clients build a solid foundation of movement quality, bodily awareness, and strength in order for them to understand how to creatively use movement and exercise to unlock their body’s functional potential or even their best physique.

From an early age, he explored different avenues of human movement in basic gymnastics, breakdancing, and wushu. More recently, he has started his journey into combat sports through kickboxing, boxing, jiu-jitsu, and fencing. Undoubtedly, his real passion is in teaching others the joys of building a capable and resilient body through curiosity, discipline, and intentional movement

Nina Bartel

Registered Massage Therapist

Since graduating from Langara College in 2018, Nina has had the privilege of working with people of all ages, and has experience treating TMJ dysfunction, sciatica, chronic and acute neck and lower back pain, plantar fasciitis, headaches, anxiety, and PTSD.

She enjoys providing a safe space for her clients to unwind, while also applying specific techniques to address pain and regulate the nervous system. She believes that healing is multi-faceted, and takes a holistic approach when it comes to client care – addressing not only the body, but lifestyle, habits, and mindset. She has over a decade of personal experience in strength-training, and a background in yoga.

Her philosophy is this: we are all stronger than we think, and always have the power to improve our state of being, no matter our condition.

Techniques: Swedish massage, trigger point release, myofascial release, and Level 2 informed Craniosacral Therapy.

Nina is also a Level 1 Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist.

Sunny Yoshida

Registered Massage Therapist

Sunny is a patient-centred Registered Massage Therapist dedicated to providing safe, comfortable, and individualized care. She believes that even small discomforts, such as everyday shoulder stiffness or minor aches, should not be accepted as “normal.” Her goal is to help clients reduce pain, restore balance, and enjoy a more comfortable daily life.

She graduated from Vancouver Career College and has experience working in a spa setting, where she provided therapeutic and relaxation-focused massage treatments to help reduce muscle tension, relieve stress, and promote overall well-being.

Sunny has a background in Kyudo (Japanese archery) and enjoys boxing as part of her active lifestyle. These experiences have given her a personal appreciation for the importance of movement, recovery, and staying active, which she brings into her approach to patient care.

Fluent in both English and Japanese, Sunny is pleased to provide care in either language and strives to ensure every client feels heard, understood, and supported throughout their treatment.

JC Venezuela

Registered Massage Therapist

JC believes every individual has the innate ability to heal and realign themselves with proper care and guidance.

With a treatment style that is focused on manual therapy techniques, and functional movements he is dedicated to leading every body to an individualized and pain-free state of fluid mobility.

Having completed his Massage Therapy Program at Vancouver Career College, he has several years of experience as a body worker/RMT. Driven by his interest in human biomechanics and movement, he is also certified by Brookbrush Institute in Human Movement Optimization.

Techniques: Deep tissue, trigger point release, myofascial line release, swedish massage, IASTM, functional movement coaching/training

Chris Janicek

Registered Massage Therapist

Chris is a graduate of CDI’s Registered Massage Therapy program and has been practicing as an RMT for the last six years. 

Chris continues to practice his manual skills and has recently expanded his skill set by taking an instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization course. 

His treatment style is constantly adapting to each patient’s unique needs to provide a personalized treatment for each patient. From recovering from a motor vehicle accident to relaxing after a stressful day, Chris has had the benefit of helping many patients reach their goals.

In his free time, Chris can be found biking trails all over the lower mainland, playing tabletop games with friends, and painting miniatures.
 

Chris provides a safe space for people of all body types, conditions, and diverse gender identities.

Andrew Enders

Registered Massage Therapist

Having experienced injuries, postural issues, and everyday aches and soreness, Andrew understands how frustrating it can feel when your body isn’t performing or feeling like its best. Whether you are recovering from an injury or managing chronic stiffness and soreness, his goal is to support you throughout your recovery and help you return to doing the activities you enjoy.

Andrew incorporates Swedish techniques, trigger point release, and PNF stretching into his practice, tailoring each treatment to the individual. He also believes that empathy and optimism are critical components of the recovery process alongside manual therapy. Therefore, any patient on his table can expect to feel welcome, heard, and at ease.

Outside of the clinic, Andrew can be seen dragon boating around False Creek, going down Wikipedia rabbit holes, or spending time with his cats
